Ecomedes is at the forefront of using safe, predictable AI to accelerate enterprise sustainability and B2B eCommerce. We are committed to the following principles and invite other technology providers working on the built environment to join us in these principles. ​

1. Transparency and Accuracy: Maintain high levels of transparency in terms of the source and freshness of all data points, including indicators for any data generated by with algorithms. We will continually evaluate existing and new data sources to provide the most accurate data to our end users.

2. Completeness: Aggregate the most complete, relevant data that stakeholders across the building product ecosystem need to calculate compliance and make more sustainable decisions.

3. Data Privacy: Uphold data governance policies to protect the information of users, customers, and partners, ensuring that all data, including data used by AI systems is handled securely, ethically and in line with our user agreement.

4. Bias Mitigation and Fairness: Ensure that all presentations of data and recommendations are fair, unbiased, and optimized for the end-user experience.

5. Data & AI Use: Harness data and the technology, including AI to accelerate a more sustainable world by enabling customers, users, and partners to achieve product transparency and compliance that supports their declarations and helps build a better world.
